FAQs Hypnotherapy

What is Hypnotherapy?

In Hypnotherapy ones uses a state of altered awareness where the chatter of the conscious mind is turned down and the subconscious/unconscious is more easily accessed to make whatever changes the client wants.

Is it safe?

Yes. Hypnotherapy is not stage hypnosis. The client remains in control at all times. The client is never “under the control” of the therapist.

How many sessions will I need?

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is brief and extremely effective. Everyone is unique and so is their issue. Some people respond fully in a very few sessions e.g. 2 – 5. And some people need more, especially if their issue has underlying foundations in long term problems or beliefs.

How long at the sessions?

Length of sessions vary from 60 to 120 minutes. This does not affect the cost.

The first session focuses on discovering what it is you want.

During your second or third session Siobhan will create a personal relaxation tape for you to use at home, reinforcing the work you have done during your session.

How much does it cost?

Not nearly as much as your problem is costing you.

£85 per session during the week at my home consulting room

£100 per session on Saturdays and Sundays at my home consulting room

£110 per session at any venue other than my home. I have rooms available for use at the doctors’ surgery in Ramsbury, in Marlborough, Newbury, and the Dandelion Wellbeing Clinic outside Hungerford. Weekend sessions at these venues are currently unavailable.
